We are seeking for mid level .Net developers for Salt Lake , UT. It is a
6+ months long term contract assignment and it is through one of my
preferred vendor and we do have good holding with them. Could you please go
through the below job description and please let me know your comfortable
status regarding this!!
*Location :- Salt Lake, UT*
*Duration :- 6+ months*
*Interview :- Skype*
*Rate :- $47/hr on C2C with all inclusive.*
*Important Note :- Must be provide their visa copies before submissions.*
*Position Overview:*
The Software Engineer is responsible for providing technology contribution
in the analysis, design, development, and delivery of internal company
software applications and infrastructure.
*Essential Functions:*
-Participate in all aspects of software development including requirements
analysis, task estimation and sizing, technical investigation, software
design and implementation, testing, and deployment
-Work with other team members in a paired-programming environment to
develop quality C#/.NET, T-SQL code
-Follow Agile / XP development methodology and ensure compliance within
group
-Work closely with other business departments within the company
-Estimate and meet assigned development goals and target delivery dates
-May need to work occasional off hours/weekends to support 24x7 production
systems
*Required Experience and Skills:*
-Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science or other
engineering/scientific field is preferred (equivalency experience may apply)
-Minimum 2+ years proven software development experience using high level
object oriented languages such as C# (preferred), .Net, C++, or Java
-Minimum 2+ years of the following:
C#,.Net (2.0 and above) programming in an n-tier environment. (3.5 is
preferred)
-Experience with .Net UI platforms
-Experience with Javascript, J-Query, MVC (model viewable controllers) and
ASP.Net
-SQL Server (Relational database) experience
-Must have a very strong understanding of object oriented design
-Experience with Service Oriented Architectures, Web Services, WCF, and
multi-tier distributed systems preferred
-Experience in agile development methodologies is a plus
-Must be detail oriented and have a strong analytical ability
-Must have ability to quickly learn new skills and systems
-Must have high standard of customer service and quality
-Must have ability to work and communicate well with others in a
collaborative technology team environment
-Must be independently motivated with a focus on task completion
-Must have a proactive outlook to anticipate and plan future needs and
solutions
