Job Description:
- Complete continuous integration in build tool (bamboo)
- Download latest version of code (git)
- Compile code (maven)
- Upgrade AWS CI database (flyway via maven)
- Run junit tests against the AWS CI database (maven goal)
- Apply version number to this build
- Build artifacts (jars and wars)
- Send out notification on failures, and first success after failure
- Label/Tag code as latest stable base
- Complete deployment jobs in build tool (bamboo, AWS)
- Upgrade AWS database for the target deployment environment (flyway)
- Get artifacts
- now from a build target dir or from a tmp dir on build box
- future will be out of Nexus
- Configure properties for target deployment environment
- Deploy war to tomcat
- Restart Tomcat
- Create integration tests jobs
- Build and deploy latest stable code base
- Verify env health
- Kick off a series of tests: junit, jmeter, and/or selenium
- Report on test success/failure
