Description: Responsibilities: - Application design, development, and third level support of business critical applications using a wide range of Java-related technologies. - Understand business requirements and translate them into reliable and supportable solutions. - Provide third level support. Must Haves: - 8+ years application development experience. - Experience updating, deploying, and supporting large-scale, business critical applications. - Experience with core java web development framework (servlets, jsp, beans, etc) - Experience using Java IDE’s like Eclipse and jDeveloper. - Experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate. - Experience with large Java-based frameworks like Spring or Oracle ADF. - Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation. - Experience with full development lifecycle from initial business requirements through implementation. - Experience developing, debugging and troubleshooting functionality using JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and bootstrap.js - Experience writing complex SQL statements composed of multiple tables. - Experience designing a database schema to support business requirements. - Experience troubleshooting application defects. - Excellent troubleshooting skills. - Ability to understand and update application code written by other developers. - Experience developing estimates for future development tasks.
