*Roles And Responsibilities:-*
• Design and create *database schema scripts (DDL),* deploy
schema build scripts, maintain database baselines, support application
requirements, testing and implementations. Must follow all migration
policies and processes.
• Reasonable skill set in *PL/SQL* and *NZ SQL* development;
ability to analyze and provide recommendation for
performance tuning.
• Analyze and resolve, or recommend solutions to technical
problems such as performance issues, integration of object-oriented
relational database technology, data quality issues.
• Participate in modeling initiatives (object, logical), data
analysis and application of corporate standards.
• Create sound database physical design models from object or
logical models.
• Prepare status reports to accurately communicate progress;
provide early notification of problems that could effect schedules, or the
integrity or availability of data.
• 2-3 years hands on Netezza DBA experience including building
objects and maintaining all environments.
• NZ SQL development experience
• Unix operating system experience including shell scripting
and file management.
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation,
presentation and influencing skills.
