*Duration: 6+Months Interview Mode: Telephonic then Skype* *JOB DESCRIPTION:-* *Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:* *8 + years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices* *5+ years Microsoft SQL Server experience.* *• SQL Server 2005, 2008 and SQL 2012 knowledge is must.* *• Database Administration* *• Database Tuning* *• Database Management* *• Database Security* *• RDBMS* *• Apply hotfix patches* *• Migration of old SQL DB to New version of SQL* *• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills* *• Good Technical documentation skills* *• Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments* *• Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques* *• Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices* *• Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives* *• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language* *• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail* *• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment* *• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.* *• Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.* *• Experience with HA and DR methodologies (clustering and Mirroring, Replication and Log shipping)* *• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.* *• Experience with Database upgrades and migrations.* * Roles & responsibilities:* *This position required experience with installing and maintaining SQL server 2012, 2008 and 2005 databases in standalone and cluster environments (experience with SQL 2012 a must).
