Initial project is porting .Net applications from an Oracle backend to SQL Server and requires requires removing references to existing tables and point to new tables, updating existing applications and scripts. 80% .Net programming / 20% PL/SQL & SQL programming. INITIAL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS FOCUS: * 7+ years experience writing PL/SQL scripts, triggers, functions, procedures, & packages * Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database structures * Experience developing ASP.net applications running with both Oracle and SQL Server database backends * Experience migrating .Net applications from Oracle to SQL Server database platform. This includes ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * 7+ years experience developing custom software applications using Microsoft .Net tools * Heavy front-end web application development (GUI) and ability to design and develop intuitive and effective user interfaces for web-based applications * Mastery of the Microsoft .Net suite of development tools, especially ASP.net (Web Forms & MVC) and VB.net or C#.net * Strong experience in Javascript & JQuery * Experience with database technology, either SQL Server or Oracle including Toad, SQL or PL/SQL, SQL Management Studio (SMS), T-SQL, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) * Ability to develop and implement effective database designs for SQL Server or Oracle. * Experience in identifying and documenting requirements and in developing appropriate technical and functional system designs * Experience with an SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) methodology * Experience using code and documentation repositories * Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and serve as a team leader * Knowledge of project management principles and techniques * Ability to develop clear and concise systems documentation * Excellent verbal and written communications ability * Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4 year college or university or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE * Experience in application development for mobile devices (iOS and Android) * Experience with both SQL Server and Oracle databases * Sharepoint development experience * MS Excel skills * Microsoft Project skills * Visio skills * Ability to develop data analysis and reporting systems using popular BI (Business Intelligence) tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, SAP, etc. * Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system * Experience using automated testing tools * Experience in a Project Manager role Regards Naresh 404-334-0504 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
