*Job Description:*
Our customer is seeking a UNIX Engineer / Architect with experience with
Oracle RAC installation and configuration.
Responsibilities:
* RAC deployments
* Linux System Administration
* Identify existing configurations not done via best practices and
correct
* Identify any serious flaws in the environment that risks stability.
* Off-Hours support including Periodic On-call availability
Qualifications:
* Minimum 8+ years of IT experience with expert level experience in Red
Hat Linux, support and administration.
* 3+ years’ experience providing design and architect services for a
Red Hat Linux based infrastructure.
* Proven experience and ability to manage problem resolutions of
complex or intermittent issues in a multi-vendor, integrated enterprise
environment.
* Skilled and comfortable with tackling complex challenges, either in
leading the troubleshooting effort or advising others.
* Experience with Linux server security and hardening servers
* Off-Hours support including Periodic On-call availability
