We are seeking for senior LTE Systems Engineer for TX area. It is a 6+
months long term contract assignment and it is through one of my preferred

*Position Description*
The position will be a key contributor for the LTE-U product. Candidate
will be responsible for the LTE System architecture & design with emphasis
on the LTE-U Access/RF network. Primary responsibilities involve, but not
limited to, end-to-end knowledge of Samsung LTE products, Technical
proposals, Technical research and white papers, Customer interface for SME
activities, Operator network design, RFI/RFP, and Patent filings. The
candidate must be detailed oriented and also have an eye for quality.
Position requires being on a multi-functional team of LTE & CDMA system
design, testing, field engineering, technical support, installations,
product demonstrations and training. Will participate in technology trials,
launch and support commercial operation of a new wireless system with
multiple major Wireless Operators.
*Qualifications*
* Must: Experience with 3GPP product architecture, design and
implementation. Specifically, E-UTRAN and EPC experience is desired.
* Must: Have a solid understanding of the overall LTE Network Architecture.
* Must: Hands on experience with mobility management & mobile broadband
functions.
* Must: Working knowledge of LTE protocol stacks
* Must: Working knowledge of WIFI protocol stacks
* Must: Working knowledge of IP network protocols & QoS.
* Must: Good understanding of wireless network evaluation, 3GPP & 3GPP2
standard activities and FCC spectrum allocations.
* Must: Fluent with 3GPP Release 8-13 technical content.
* Must: Knowledge of various IP related IETF RFCs
* Should: Understanding of LTE RLC, MAC and Physical layer protocols.
* Should: Working knowledge of various RF antenna technologies & network
optimizations.
* Should: Working knowledge of CDMA technology is desired.
*General Qualifications*
* Must: 8+ years of relevant industry experiences with BSEE or BSCS or 5+
yrs with MSEE or MSCS
* Must: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must: Some travel required for customer presentations, design reviews,
and onsite debugging.
* Should: Hands on ability to establish and demonstrate new technology.
