Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager Location: Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OK (Tulsa) Duration: 3-6 months Contract with possibility of extension Tax terms: C2C Job description: Infrastructure Project Manager (PMP preferred) with Network Security focus opening in Houston *Overview:* This is a 3-6 month contract opening in Houston with options to renew / extend as needed for an Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong Network Security focus (PMP certifications are preferred). If this Pilot Project is successful, the project could go longer. Ideally our client is seeking a Project Manager with 5 to 7 years’ experience in security related projects. Previous experience with global Infrastructure deployment experience is strongly preferred as well as Executive level experience as this will involve working with some high-level business stakeholders. Any experience in Network Security projects (especially Data Loss Prevention) is a significant plus. *Responsibilities:* - Shape and drive a project from initiation stage to project close. - Ensures that project vision and goals are clearly defined and that key stakeholders are identified and on-boarded. - Manages project scope. Defines the project plan, roles and responsibilities and communications plan. - Leads the project methodology, ensuring that templates and work instructions are clear for all project phases and deliverables. - Creates and maintains the project plan. - Drives to ensure that issues and risks are actioned and mitigated in a timely manner. - Management of multiple stakeholders across multiple business and technical groups. - Track record of ability to ramp-up quickly. - Creation of status reports for management stakeholders. - Typically requires five to seven years of experience. - Under general direction and minimal guidance, uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes. - Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist. - Works independently acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
