*Java Developer (for Point of Sale)*
*MUST HAVE:*
· 5+ years Java programming experience
· 3+ years development using Microsoft SQL
· Experience developing or maintaining point-of-sale (POS) systems
o Preferably using Java on a POS System
· Strong SQL query authoring/analysis skills
· Demonstrated competency in accurately identifying the scope of
work and preparing thorough, accurate, and detailed schedule estimates
· Demonstrated competency in designing, programming, and unit
testing complex n-Tier applications
· Demonstrated competency in producing clear and thorough technical
documentation
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an
ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
· BS / BA in MIS, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics,
Engineering or related field
· Demonstrated experience with taking initiative to provide input
and resolve issues and problems proactively
· Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, both
technical and business related, and to apply these concepts as needed
· Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize
multiple assignments
