Metro/Northern VA area – travel will not be reimbursed.* *This is a high priority, long-term position for resources with significant experience (8+ years) in Scala programming.* *This resource will be required to:* • Manage and design application structure for implementation in Scala and Java on the Play framework. • Manage and design software modules for implementation in Scala and Java. Code and unit test software modules. • Support estimation for design, coding, and unit testing tasks in Scala and Java. • Direct, mentor and train other developers on Scala development practices. • Raise issues and risks to supervisor in a timely manner. *Required Skills:* · *Scala – P4 (Expert)* · *Java (language) – P3 (Advanced)* · *Play!
