Responsibilities: (what will they be doing – job tasks)
- Lead Developer of Agile Scrum Team.
- Participate in Daily Scrum meeting and Sprint Planning.
- Provide hands-on software development of a Java EE application built
using Angular JS, Spring MVC, JSF 2.0, Primefaces 5.2, EJB 3.x, JPA 2.0,
Hibernate, running in Oracle WebLogic.
- Participate in design and code reviews, documentation of design, and
implementation of methodologies to ensure high quality deployments.
- Work independently in collaboration with customers to provide
solutions that address their needs.
Qualifications: (what skills are required)
· 12+ years of experience in IT
· 4-5 years of experience in JAVA
· Experience with mentoring more junior team members
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proven ability to produce quality documents using a variety of
media, text and tools with a minimum of errors
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong object-oriented analysis, design, and programming experience
• Experience with web technologies JSF 2.0 and JSP.
• Experience in JPA and with ORM technologies like Hibernate.
• Experience with databases - Oracle.
• Experience in EJB 3.0.
• Knowledge of JSF Frameworks like Primefaces is preferred but not
required.
• Good knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript.
• Experience with Application Servers like WebLogic, JBoss and Tomcat
• Knowledge of Build tools like ANT and Maven.
Secondary Qualifications:
· Experience in the telecommunications industry
· Experience implementing automated testing solutions
· Highly motivated and dependable with exceptional written and
verbal communication skills
· A self-starter that relies on experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish individual and team goals
• Prior experience working with offshore model will be an added
advantage
