*We need* *Enterprise Storage Administrator, **Sacramento, CA* *(**6 Months* *)* *If you are Interested and available for the Job, Please revert back with latest resume, expected pay rate, availability and other details required for submission to **[email protected]* <[email protected]>* (MKM Shahid).* *Role: **Enterprise Storage Administrator* *Location: **Sacramento, CA* *Duration: **6 Months* *Total IT Experience required 8+ years* *California Local Consultants Preferred.* *H1 copy submission is a must. * *Less than 8 years experience and VISA transfer cases please do not submit.* *SCOPE OF WORK:* *EMC* *Task 1: *VPLEX Migration: · Migrate hosts from VMAX-20k to VPLEX. · Migrate data inside VPLEX to redistribute back-end port utilization. · Assist in the storage and data protection planning and preparation for moving the primary data center services to a co-location facility. · VMAX-20k storage decommission after migration if required. *Task 2: *ViPR SRM · Install client agents on AIX hosts connected to the EMC storage arrays. *NetApp* *Task 3: *Infrastructure Management · SnapDrive and Snap Manager upgrade. · VMware VSC upgrade. · Assist in NetApp cluster mode upgrade. *Task 4: Data Protection* · Assist in a data and service (NAS and Block) migration from 7-mode to Cluster mode involving multiple sites. *Mandatory Requirements* 1.Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the design, configuration and maintenance of EMC hardware. 2.Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the design, configuration and maintenance of NetApp hardware. *Technical Requirements* 1.Experienced in VMAX and VPLEX architectures, storage provisioning, and decommissioning processes. 2.Experienced in FC zoning in Brocade DCX switches. 3.Experienced in NetApp ONTAP 7 and 8 architectures, storage provisioning, and decommissioning processes. 4.Knowledge of Data Protection architectures, tools, and solutions. *Desirable Qualifications* 1.Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) administration such as Oracle, MS SQL Server and DB2. 2.
