*Position: Java Architect* *Location : NYC, NY* *Duration : Long term* This position will be responsible for serving NYC Business Portal, which will be retained for the expanded NYCB Portal, the Systems Integrator will expand on the capabilities of the NYC Business Portal by building critical functionalities. In this capacity the ESA duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to following: - Provide Software Solution Architecture and work with NYC architect team. Design new process, workflows and services Integration with existing systems Implement design toward standardization, common approach and reuse develop and deploy java systems *Mandatory Requirement:* A minimum of ten years’ experience developing and implementing similar solution. A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a Software/Solutions Architect for a Java J2SE/EE based application with technologies listed below. Technologies: Oracle HTTP Web Server 11g, Oracle HTTP Web Server 11g , Oracle WebLogic App Server 11g , Oracle DB 11g Java 1.7 , Spring Framework , JPA/Hibernate ORM Framework Blaze Advisor Business Rules Management System (BRMS) 7.x Experience integrating data from multiple source and with exposure working with multiple state/city agencies will be an advantage. Should have experience working with large teams. Experience in implementing single sign-on solution. It is time sensitive project and person should be able to do multitasking and can well adjust to fast changing requirements. *Desirable Requirement:* A minimum of five years’ experience in providing customized Java design and development of integrated system portal using the technologies listed above. Experience in providing development services in building integrated system portal. to convert Java applications from WebSphere Portal to WebSphere Application Server.
