*Hiring Manager looking for SQL DBA Cum Developer Experience, Not into
Reporting Tools*



·         *Performance tuning *

·         *transactional systems*





What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities?

*SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014; SSIS, query analyzer, profiler*



What skills/attributes are a must have?

·         5 + of SQL Server database development including *query
optimization, performance tuning and index utilization*

·         5 + with *T-SQL; writing complex queries*, stored procedures and
functions

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience



What skills/attributes are nice to have?

•             Healthcare experience is a plus

•             Data migration (SSIS)



What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be
detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily
basis)

•             Create queries on large data sets

•             Create stored procedures, functions and triggers as needed

•             Extract, transform and load data via Import/Export wizards
and SSIS

•             Tune queries to obtain maximum performance where necessary

•             Develop tables, indexes, constraints

•             Optimize database code by analyzing query execution plans

•             Research new ways to improve existing functionality
