WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience 7 Direct experience working with GIS Tools and applications such as ESRI’s ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcGIS Server. 7 Knowledge of GIS data structures, including topology and also must be familiar with practices for editing GIS data. 7 Experience working with scripting languages. Python and JavaScript knowledge are essential. 7 Should be able to work with JQuery. Should know how to use JavaScript and Ajax/XHR to create responsive web clients that consume JSON services. Experience with a JavaScript framework like Dojo, Ember.JS, or Angular is a plus. 7 Ability to coordinate work and communicate effectively with other team members. 7 Can effectively document algorithms and programming APIs implemented by code they developed. 7 Able to investigate problems and find solutions even when the initial requirements may be incompletely spelled out. 7 Can quickly learn new technology and apply it in practice. 7 Knowledge of and ability to work with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Preferences: Years Skills/Experience 7 Experience with ArcSDE and versioned editing and developing applications that support GIS versioning and reconciliation. 7 Experience working with ArcPy and ESRI Geoprocessing tools. 7 Experience with ArcGIS server and authoring and publishing map services and geoprocessing tools for server. 7 Ability to tune, configure, or optimize ArcSDE databases.
