Works with Project Manager and IT teams to define, estimate and drive the project to completion. Frequently presents the project status, risks and issues to the executives. This position is heavily involved with managing infrastructure related projects. *Primary Functions* • Lead the planning and implementation of project • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables • Work with the teams in matrix organization to define project tasks and resource requirements • Develop full scale project / build plans • Assemble and coordinate project staff • Assist Project manager and Resource managers in managing project budget • Manage project resource allocation within IT • Plan and schedule project timelines for technical delivery • Assists PM in tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools • Provide direction and support to project team • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs • Project evaluations and assessment of results *Education, Experience and Skills* • Qualification in project management or equivalent • Technical background with project management experience preferred • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management – specially related to infrastructure projects • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management • Experience in health care field preferred *Minimum / General Experience: * Responsible for leading multiple technical teams responsible for the overall coordination, reporting and integration within the scope of an IT application environment. Project leadership experience required with strong analytical abilities and familiarity with business processes. Plans and directs highly technical projects, involving all aspects of information resources management with emphasis on software development. This resource will direct completion of tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints. Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates. Develops and implements standard process management methodologies for the IT and Business community to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, meet customer expectations and add value. Mentors and trains less senior Leads. Institutionalizes standardized processes and procedures and helps other IT staff members and business customers to understand the benefits of using Association-wide standards. Identifies and prioritizes opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
