Role:- Ruby on Rails Developer Location:- Jersey City, NJ *Keywords * Deployment, Upgrades, Synchronization, Backups, Snapshots, Monitoring, Heartbeat, Logging, Troubleshooting, Parameter Configuring, Maintenance *Skills requirements * § (2-5+) years experience front-end designing, developing and delivering consumer and enterprise Web products using Ruby, Ruby-on-Rails Framework, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML5, Angular JS, etc. § Experience optimizing front-end for existing and new features § Experience working with back-end Developers to evolve the product § Sound Object-Oriented (OO) design skills and knowledge of application architecture patterns § Ability to work well in a modern, Agile software engineering environment (with source code version control, dev/stage/prod release cycles, extensive testing, and continuous integration and release management), requiring minimal supervision to plan, implement daily tasks *Application to be developed and experience required to develop it* 1. Web application experience is required as developing pure Web application. 2. Experience with Restful Web services APIs for other applications to interface with internal application as flow of JSON data (i.e. gateways and APIs using Python) 3. Fast, effective remote diagnostics with experience in pure remote administration (i.e. SSH access). 4. Transparent deployments, regular updates and upgrades in order to secure the longevity of the system. Experience with secured, remote deployment of new software releases. 5. Able to propose concept for securing data as security measure between browsers and Web server and data flow between a hardware gateway of client and ISE application server (software-to-software flow) 6. Working knowledge of Debian 7. Scripting skills using tools such as VIM, SCREEN over SSH for remote deployment administration and maintenance through SSH. 8. Practical knowledge in handling automated scripts in Ruby, Python and Perl. 9. Networking experience in managing routers, switches, security. CISCO Certification would be a plus. 10. Experience in Virtualization, for example certification in VMWare or CITRIX. 11. Experience using data mining methods and tools 12. Experience managing large data volumes with ability to vertically scale data volume through full clustering e.g. attaining 9 million jobs/second per CPU core. 14. Employ software engineering methods with source code version control, dev/stage/prod release cycles, extensive testing, and continuous integration and release management. 15. Perform software documentation regularly and as needed/required 16.
