Job Description :
Skill Set: Informatica 9.6.1, Cognos 10.2 and Oracle:
· Candidate should have minimum 10 to 12 years of experience.
· 8+ years DW /BI expertise
· Experience with implementing DW/BI solutions involving
informatica, oracle, cognos (or BO or MSTR)
· Understands concept of dimensional modeling, star schema
· Designs and develop ETL solutions/data integration mappings
· Designs and architects ETL solutions while focusing development
of reusable components and aligning to Cengage DW vision
· Ensures adherence to Cengage standards, policies and quality
compliance, enterprise metadata definition
· Ensures incorporation of best practices and lessons learned from
prior projects.
· High / low level design and ETL mappings
· ETL Mapping development
· Documentation of phase-end deliverables
· Cognos report design (Report Studio report)
· Cognos report development (Report Studio report, Active Report)
· Cognos Cube development and deployment
· Report design and identification of the objects required, tables,
matrix, charts etc.
· Review work products delivered by developers
· Report testing strategy formulation and review of test plan and
test cases
· Report testing
· Good communication skills
