Role: Sr. System Engineer for (CAD- Computer-Aided Design)

Duration 6 months (chances exist for further extension as well)



*JD:*




   - Serve as technical lead, coordinator and SME for all public safety
   technology capital and operations projects
   - Account management for computer aided dispatch, mobile responder,
   iLeads (current RMS), Telestaff, License Plate Recognition System, and IA
   Pro
   - Perform audits in the records management system for internal affairs
   cases
   - Setup and maintain all fire and burglar alarm entries for special
   addresses in the computer aided dispatch system
   - Install, upgrade and maintain applications for all computer aided
   dispatch workstations in Philadelphia and Wilmington
   - Perform Oracle and SQL database queries to obtain CRITICAL custom data
   extracts
   - Perform any and all changes to the application (i.e. adding or
   modifying field office information, officer deployment information,
   location specific data)
   - Serve as authorized technical point of contact with all of the many
   software vendors
   - Support and manage “day-to-day” Application maintenance activities
   such as data loads, corrections, backups and troubleshooting issues
   reported by Help desk and end users.
   - Coordinate monthly and quarterly OS patching for all Police systems
   servers located in IBM’s data centers with the end user community.
   - Daily review of system log files from PIMS and Citrix servers.
   Resolve any issues that arise from daily log review.
   - Support and follow the Information Technology incident and change
   management process – including participating in the daily incident review
   call and the weekly change management call.
   - Support and maintain automated data report extracts as well as
   performing ad-hoc data extracts from LEADS Oracle and/or CAD SQL databases
   for reporting purposes.
   - Review and approve all change records affecting the APD servers,
   firewalls and network.
   - Maintaining documentation of server and workstation lists allowed to
   traverse the PIMS firewalls.
   - Assist in troubleshooting any PIMS network and firewall issues.
   - Assist in troubleshooting end user Police client application issues in
   a nation-wide environment.

   - Support and maintain the following Police applications.  This includes
   application maintenance/support/installation:
   - All Intergraph CAD server applications
   - All CAD workstation applications
   - CAD database connections
   - CAD CLEAN interface to state of Pennsylvania
   - CAD interfaces (Telestaff, SilentKnight Alarm System, iLeads, NCIC)
   - iLEADS server applications
   - iLEADS interfaces (Telestaff, CAD, Linx, ArcGIS)
   - Kronos Telestaff server applications
   - IAPro server and client applications
   - Eden Consulting KATS application
   - All Intergraph Mobile Responder applications
   - Comet Tracker system
   - Maintain legacy CHIEFS database
   - ELSAG LPR applications
   - All SIS/Silent Knight Alarm Center hardware and applications
