Role:Oracle DBA Duration:3 months San Francisco, CA- Local only F2F Must have GC or USC Database Administrator II The IT Database Administrator provides support for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT's production and development databases. She or he is responsible for building new databases and making requested changes, updates and modifications to existing database structure and data, in compliance with written company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. This role will specifically focus on handling non production databases, application servers. The install base includes Oracle 11g Databases on Linux, Oracle R12.1, WebLogic, MS SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL servers. This role will closely work with multiple scrum teams to build environments, deploy codes and maintain them. Duties: · Administer, backup, clone Databases (Oracle 11g, 12c on Linux, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL) · Analyze patches released by Oracle and other vendors and test them before making ready for production · Setup and test HA features for MySQL & PostgreSQL databases · Debug performance issues · Build scripts for automation and monitoring · Work with project scrum teams to understand new features going to production and advise production DBAs on growth and performance issues · Create, update and Document Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) docs for Production DBAs for new features released to production Required Skills/Experience: · 8 years + IT experience · 5 years + as Oracle DBA · 2 years + handling at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL · Should have good knowledge of working in Linux OS, Oracle RAC, RMAN backups and Oracle Enterprise Manager · Expertise with Python or Perl, PL/SQL, WebLogic desired · Knack for automation and scripting is highly desired · Must be a process -oriented individual · Must be open to work on off hours & weekends when required Regards *Himanshu* 978-558-4666 x 104 *himan...@teknavigators.com* <himan...@teknavigators.com> *TekNavigators LLC* *100 Cummings Center, Suite 207 P, Beverly, MA 01915* *www.*teknavigators.com DISCLAIMER: This message and any attachments are solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged or confidential.
