Hi,

the simplest example of a graphics driver is the Voodoo3 driver.
You can also look at the NeoMagic driver to check similarities
so you can see which parts are driver specific ;)

For a complete example you should have a look at the Matrox driver.
It implements all formats, functions and flags. It also has support
different generations of Matrox cards.

The Matrox, ATI and NeoMagic driver have support for
an additional display layer (the YUV overlay of these cards).

Unfortunately I don't have a Radeon. If I had one I could try FBDRI
to see if it's worth enough to be integrated into DirectFB.
