Hi, the simplest example of a graphics driver is the Voodoo3 driver. You can also look at the NeoMagic driver to check similarities so you can see which parts are driver specific ;) For a complete example you should have a look at the Matrox driver. It implements all formats, functions and flags. It also has support different generations of Matrox cards. > So far the matrox driver seems to be the only one implementing the > layers-API or am I totally wrong? The Matrox, ATI and NeoMagic driver have support for an additional display layer (the YUV overlay of these cards). > and BTW, if anyone here has radeons and are willing to test the code, please > contact (and be prepared to reboot :-). Unfortunately I don't have a Radeon. If I had one I could try FBDRI to see if it's worth enough to be integrated into DirectFB. -- Best regards, Denis Oliver Kropp .------------------------------------------. | DirectFB - Hardware accelerated graphics | | http://www.directfb.org/ | "------------------------------------------" convergence integrated media GmbH -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe directfb-dev" as subject.
