nope, dietlibc comes with a (g)cc wrapper named diet, so basically you I just do: count@gomorra:/usr/src/cvs/cvs-directfb/DirectFB$ CC="diet gcc" ./configure and get DirectFB libaries linking against dietlibc. when I do the same in DirectFB-examples, I get statically linked libraries without glibc (which can be excellently packed using upx) .. but beware: if you try using a non-dietlibc library (e.g. libpng) this WON'T work.
