yes i have got quite far with the savage driver, i am currently having problems with the primary layer stuff as the primary layer is tied quite closely to the fbdev stuff and there seems to be some yucky stuff going on there. there seems to be some differences between the primaryAllocateSurface and the normal allocate surface, i haven't figured out what it is yet. from what i have seen the kernel savagefb driver is also quite yucky (please don't take offence) and that is related to the fbdev stuff. i will make the source public eventually but i am not quite done yet. i can submit the code "as is" if you really want to try it out. cheers, alex -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe directfb-dev" as subject.
