I've run into some trouble with the CRTC2 stuff and multi application core. If I use the CRTC2 layer while I have XDirectFB running the maven programming will fail. I think the card would have to be idle while the programming takes place. I tried to add dfb_gfxcard_sync() before the programming but that didn't help. Is there some existing lock I could grab to guarantee that the card remains idle?
