Actually, I'm more interested in directcolor at > 8bpp. It's not really a concern, since the driver supports 16, 24 and 32 bpp in either truecolor or directcolor. I just can't find a clear way of activating which since the visuals are in fb_fix_screeninfo. Basically, I wanted directcolor so gamma control can work with X, but I also want DirectFB to work too.
