  Well I guess I've sort of been seeing what Brian has been talking about,
but really I haven't had time to play with it.

  Neat :)    See, all I want DirectFB for is for an interlaced
framebuffer to do pass-thru with OSD, so using an overlay surface is
pretty silly, since I'd be deinterlacing for no reason :)

  I'll likely throw your code in CVS in a bit.  Still sort of going
through stuff after the holidays.
