I can't seem to get the tv out working on the G550. All I get is a faint
static. Tried the following
1) Applied the matroxfb-vsync patch
2) added FBIO_WAITFORVSYNC to fb.h
3) put the following in the kernel config
CONFIG_FB_MATROX=y
CONFIG_FB_MATROX_G100=y
CONFIG_FB_MATROX_G450=y
4) Built and installed the new kernel
5) Built and installed DirectFB
6) Added
matrox-crtc2
matrox-tv-standard=ntsc
to /etc/directfbrc
Machine is a Soyo P4VDA (Pentium 4 2.4GHZ with VIA VT8233a and VT8753a
support chips.
The primary display works fine, but the second head never generates anything
other than static.
Any ideas?
