Hello,

I guess it is time for me to stop lurking on this list and write something.

I have recently written a driver for my EPIA-M board. It is based on the
XFree86 sources, so its capabilities are fairly limited. It accelerates
opaque drawing and video-to-video memory blits, but that is about it.
Because of this, care must be taken so that your application does not end up
running slower than with the software renderer.

Anyway, I do not want to send individual mails with the driver source to
everybody, so I will start a Sourceforge project. Hopefully it will be up
and running in a few days.

Finally if a company (Convergence? Pretty please? :-) could work out an NDA
deal with VIA Technologies, I'd be very happy to make the driver complete
(except mpeg2 decoding), with alpha blending and overlays.

Regards,
Andreas
