Indeed, and I'm definitely going to play with this sooner or later, but
I'm afraid it won't be easy, as the 3D engine can be a bitch to deal
with and differs considerably between the R100 and R200 (not to mention
R300) cores.

BTW, df_andi and df_knuckles flicker badly now, does that indicate a
driver bug?

That would be nice.

I'm mainly interested in XDirectFB, I think it has a lot of potential
for enhancing the desktop experience. I'm probably going to post
questions and ideas about this in the next couple of days (don't hold
your breath though ;).
