I know Andreas' new CLE266 driver needs some more vetting, but is
there any reason in principle to not integrate this patch into the
DirectFB tree? It would be marked experimental and all that, but it's
not like there's a 100% completed driver here:

  http://www.directfb.org/modules.xml

There's a lot of active interest in these boards relative to
directfb/sdl etc, so it'd be nice to get support integrated. It
certainly appears that Via is going to be a team player and continue
to release specs and code, so I think these drivers will continue to
improve.

I'm currently trying to test the CLE266 driver so I can report on the
results. I haven't been running kernels with module support, so the
build instructions are needing to get adjusted somewhat.

PS. Andreas, thanks so much! I haven't gotten it working yet, but
it's good to know people are hacking on my new favorite platform
(diskless/fanless).
