Subject: [directfb-users] DirectFB and SuSE 9.1
Has anyone tested DirectFB 0.9.21 (CVS) on SuSE 9.1 (Kernel 2.6.4)?
It compiles, but the examples/tutorials crash with "video mode not set"
when using vesafb @ 1024*768*32k.
The 0.9.20 that comes with SuSE 9.1 even brought my system down.
Currently I use SuSE 9.0 with kernel 2.4.21 and DirectFB 0.9.16, which
seems to work with vesafb (except for the annoying panning not supported
warnings), but for other reasons I have to switch to a 2.6 kernel.
So, I guess, my real question is: How do I get DirectFB to work on SuSE
9.1 (kernel 2.6.4) and an Intel i845 graphics card?
