How does VDR & softdevice use DirectFB to compose the video and OSD?

I'm sure there's at least one fallback causing your bad performance.

It's working as a pixel format for the overlay, but I don't think
that blitting from I420 to RGB is supported. Hopefully YUY2->RGB
blitting is supported (soon).
