Recently, I had a problem with the Debian package of DirectFB, where I
got this error:
--> /usr/lib/directfb-0.9.22/inputdrivers/libdirectfb_ps2mouse.so:
undefined symbol: direct_free
Cause of this problem is the lib/direct/build.h - this file shouldn't
exist in the tarball.
Seems someone forgot to do a distclean, before uploading the tarball.
You might want to
upload a new "distcleaned" tarball, as others may stumble across this
problem too.
