I tried to see if I could backport the patch to the 2.0.9 sources, but they're too outdated. I suppose we should wait until Attilio can see if they fix or not the problem with an installer based on 2.8.3 libs. Would it then be possible for you to backoprt the patches or it would be just too tricky? I'm really curious to see if the cause of the crash is really DFB or #316484. Thanx for your help, Davide
