Sounds like a cheesy movie from the 50:ies. Anyway, another carrot
concerning a possible WebKit port. The KDE people are just now writing
a compatibility layer to handle Apple Dashboard widgets, this as the
WebKit and KHTML are very much the same code base.

Thus, with a possible WebKit port it might be doable to run thousands
of Dashboard widgets, and establish this as a viable way to write
embedded small applets and presentations -- this to counter the .Net
Windows CE world.

I don't have the numbers, but reading about the Nokia WebKit port it's
clear that they needed a small footprint browser implementation for
Series 60.
