Next lets rip Window out of the core and for now make it build as its own library. Allow a window to be created for any surface Fixe surfaces/subsurface and the api to allow sharing the buffer or having your own. Fix the software cursor. Then we can allow WM/Window api's and implementations to be as complex as they wish the property stuff should minimize differences.
