Hello,

Can someone help me with a problem in Linux?
The program I write uses framebuffer and it works in Linux Runlevel 2 (text
mode only) and with x-server.

When starting the program it woul be good that the messages on the textconsole
will stop (and save the content of the console).

After ending the program it would be good to restore the console text and that
further messages would appear on the console as usual.

I search for that in the net, and I fount ioctls like vt_reldisp or
vt_disallocate, but I'm not sure what the ioctl do exactly.

Hope you can help me.

Rainer
