Hi Kumar,

do you think that your port of Modzilla would work on directFB also on non386
devices, like Philips/nxp nexperia soc (mips)??
Please let me know what your opinion is in this matter.

best Regards
Juergen Weber

  Hi,

We had released the firefox on dfb and are still working on it. It's running
fine on our FC2 and FC3 systems. The black box case may be solved if you apply
the patch for GTKDFB2_10_1 supplied by us(at bugzilla, refer DFBMozilla Wiki).

  Regards,
  Siddharth

Subject: [directfb-dev] Help for run mozilla on dfb

    Hi,
I am using debian testing and kernel 2.6.18. Built the mozilla on gtkdfb
as in http://www.directfb.org/wiki/index.php/DFBMozilla. In fact, I wrote the
page in http://www.directfb.org/wiki/index.php/DFBMozilla#Build_Instructions.
I cannot run firefox in /usr/gtkdfb/bin or in /usr/gtkdfb/lib/firefox-
1.5.0.3/firefox-bin. The TestGtkEmbed also cannot be used to browse webpage.

When I run 'directvnc' or gtk-demo to test environment, it is ok. But
when I run 'gimp-2.3', there are 'blank' box around every "text" button. But
after moving mouse over it, the 'text' appeared.
