No. I haven't touched the gnome keyboard stuff in a long time so I 
didn't realize it would crash. I just tried it and it does crash for me 
too :( For some reason I can't get a core dump out of it.

If I just rm -r ~/.gconf/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd/ gnome 
starts normally (with some odd complaints about xkb).

Not sure. A core dump might at least give me a better idea where to 
start looking...
