That has happened to me too, but I've never managed to press delete :)

One annoying (and unrelated) problem I'm having is that XDirectFB 
sometimes thinks I sent a gazillion input events, while in fact I just 
clicked a single button or key. Typically this happens when I'm 
opening a new tab/window with my browser. The result is that I get a lot 
of new tabs/windows and the browser in unusable for a while. It seems to 
happen when there is some CPU load. I don't remember seeing this with 
any other app than XDirectFB so it may not have anything to do with 
DirectFB itself, but I haven't done extensive tests so I can't be sure.
