I am working on a system that has more than one standard linux framebuffer devices. Each of these framebuffers is a layer on a multiple layer output. So effectively one screen 2(*) layers.
I was looking at extending DirectFB (fbdev system) to cope with multiple framebuffers and registering them on the screen. I was wondering if anyone else has looked at extending the fbdev system to cope with multiple fb devices. If so wou;d be glad to compare ideas before I start coding properly so that something might be more universally helpful for Directfb 1.1!!!!!
