Hello DirectFB guys.
For current XDirectFB, it needs --enable-multi for DirectFB lib.
And, current DirectFB lib ( > 0.9.15 ) needs fusion.ko for --enable-multi.
It makes installing XDirectFB a bit difficult.
People dont like to recompile a kernel.
What I want to do is, using XDirectFB without fusion.ko.
My quesions are,
1. Cant I use older( < 0.9.15 ) DirectFB lib for current XDirectFB?
We really need to use > 0.9.26? It requires fusion.ko also.
2. Is there any way to use user-land fusion(not ".ko") for currnet DirectFB lib?
I know this reduces performance, but being easy to install is also important.
3. What version of XDirectFB does not need fusion.ko? or works with < 0.9.15 ?
Older versions run without fusion.ko, right?
