Yes, we have observed this. Firefox uses GTK FileOpen Dialog widget. If we use that widget in TestGtkEmbed or any other stand alone GTK app, the display is proper. But the same widget is behaving in a different manner in Firefox..! May be Firefox is applying its own pre-processing or the problem may be similar to the Color problem for which we needed to patch GTK. We had tried to make it usable by changing either background or foreground color, but i doubt whether that can be a usable option as it was affecting the entire app's color pattern.
