How to set the famebuffer ,with the wild screen resolution ,Just like
1280x900 1280x720 1440x900 1920x1080
I have read Document of linux kernel . My video card driver is i810,
fb/intel810.txt
But while i set
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.8-2-386 root=/dev/hda5 ro vga=792 video=i810
lsmod , I found that . The nv dirver was not loaded,
Only have
vesafb 6688 1
cfbcopyarea 3840 1 vesafb
cfbimgblt 3200 1 vesafb
cfbfillrect 3712 1 vesafb
I wanna use the nv driver for framebuffer .
I configure In /etc/lilo.conf, add the line:
append="video=i810fb:vram:2,xres:1024,yres:768,bpp:8,hsync1:30,hsync2:55, \
vsync1:50,vsync2:85,accel,mtrr"
But It dosen`t work . The fb deveice didn`t startup .
Only work while set vga=791 with mode below .
640x480 800x600 1024x768 1280x1024

But It could only driver by vesa . It seams that no effect while set other
