Hi, all. I have some question about GTK backend Directfb performance. I tested GTK draw animation including about 30 png files. it has low speed for image loading. Also, I created some windows having bg image and switched focus them. it has low speed for window switching too. in addition, when window is switched, I could see GTKDFB default gray screen between old window with new window for about 1~2 sec. It's serious problem for me that GTKDFB default screen appeared between window with window whenever windows are switched. for my thinking, GTKDFB may has too long time for image loading or window drawing. so, I tested 8bit image (size is only 10KB!!), but window switching has low speed and default screen. my target board lcd size is 800x480. and arm9 533Mhz cpu , 128 ram. gtk version is 2.12.6 directFB version is 1.1.1 cairo version is 1.4.10 pango version 1.16.4 I applied simon's patch(that solved window destory memory leaked) and Dennis's gtk warning patch(at jan/2008), and read Mike's reply about cairo bpp.(http://mail.directfb.org/pipermail/directfb-dev/2006-May/001742.html) but i don't understand because of my low skill.
