Hi,
I am trying out Directfb on Ubuntu 10.04. I use the sample code here:

When I run it using the parameters
--dfb:system=x11,mode=800x600,no-debug,no-vt-switch it just pops up an blank
window with the title "DFB X11 system window".
The output from directfb is:

I have tried it on a couple of other Linux boxes, and it works just fine. Do
I need some special video drivers or a special combo of ubuntu packages to
use it?
