I posted this on the users list and had no response so I'll try again here:
I'm a new user of this list and of directfb in general. When using directfb I get get double characters with keyboard entrys. This was refered to previouly in this post: http://mail.directfb.org/pipermail/directfb-users/2009-April/001558.html The posters solution was to use DirectFB 1.2.6. I tried this and it works fine. Lite,Dfbterm and Fltkdfb programs all work correctly with 1.2.6, not with 1.4.5 or with the git clone. These were the only ones I tried. I'm just curious about why my post and the previous one are the only one's about this. I thought it might be a locale issue, but tried it with both UTF-8 and ISO-8859-1 on 2 different LFS builds with the same result. Since posting this I tried the git clone again and disabled the keyboard module in directfbrc and the doubling went away in Dfbterm but the Fltkdfb programs had errors not present with DirectFB 1.2.6. I'm happy with the performance of 1.2.6, but would prefer to use later versions if possible.
