Denis, Mostly those changes that specifically address multiple processes, which as you know we've spent no small amount of time on. ^_^
For example, Why is shared memory now being avoided for non-surface use? Why are IPCs being forced for operations where the shared memory model used to allow them in the peer/client process. What features, specifically, will this new model enable that were unavailable/impossible before? Stuff like that. I'm also keenly interested in your expectations as to how this will impact performance vs single process. -Jack On Fri, 08 Apr 2011 20:29:00 +0200, Denis Oliver Kropp <d...@directfb.org> wrote: >On 04/08/11 20:18, directfb-j...@threeindians.com wrote: >> Denis, >> >> Is there anyplace where you spell out your thought processes which >> have led to the changes mentioned in the roadmap? > >If I'd remember those, some ideas are from two years ago even. > >What specifically are you interested in? _______________________________________________ directfb-dev mailing list directfb-dev@directfb.org http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-dev
