Hi all, I developed an radar application based on Linux Kernel 2.6 + DFB 1.4. The hardware platform is CPU Celeron 1G + Intel 852/855. First, I built the kernel and start the application by VESA. As you know, all rendering is on software by CPU and the FPS is 35. Then I rebuilt the kernel with IntelFB and in the application I checked the DFB is using i830 driver. But the FPS is only less than 10. I think the i830 driver should do some hardware acceleration, but why it is even slower?
